Overview

Use Keyline as a person ID or unique identifier for your contacts for things like mailings, exports, and other identifying purposes. Export this field to easily identify and link up contacts across files.

What is Keyline?

Keyline is a feature of Kindful that creates a unique code for your donors. You use this (if needed) for large mailings. It will help you with getting rates when getting assistance from the Post Office. It can also serve as secondary unique ID of your Kindful Contacts which can be exported.

Keyline can also be used as a unique identifier that you can export out of your Kindful account when creating a report. This can be found on the Contact tab as a selectable column. Each contact has a unique value that will not be replicated inside of your Kindful account; it is the string of numbers at the end of a contact profile page's URL.
