Overview
This article provides a breakdown of all available tags by name, where in the Kindful system they pull the data from, a description/preview of the data they show, their display style, and which template types they work on.

^*^ We do not recommend using these tag for transaction receipts. Since transaction receipts are sent instantly, the Last Gift tag is not appropriate as it will include information on the transaction before the one that was just processed. In cases where this is the contact’s first transaction, this would be empty data. This tag may be better used for appeals or snailer templates.
First, the tag Organization Name is meant to pull in the name of your organization, not the name of an Organization contact, or a Person contact's employer. I can see how this would be confusing! I would suggest removing the tag from your template altogether.
Properly Addressing an Organization Type Record
You can use the Formal Name tag. For Person contacts, this tag will string together a Formal Name consisting of the Prefix + First Name + Middle Name + Last Name + Suffix for a Person contact. For Organization contacts, this tag will list the Organization Name with the Point of Contact's name in the next line.
You can use the Informal Name tag. If the Informal Name field is left blank, Kindful will string together an Informal Name consisting of the contact's First name (for Person contacts) or the Organization name (for Organization contacts).
